Yarra Valley Dairy

The Yarra Valley Dairy is a small family business started by Mary and Leo Mooney in 1995 on their dairy farm in one of the most picturesque wine regions of Australia.

In cheese making the rule is “the fresher the milk, the better the cheese” and the close relationship between the farming procedures and the making of the cheese are as important as vineyard management is to the making of wine. The management of cattle and pasture have a major effect on the flavour of the cheese as does the soil and climate. Yarra Valley Dairy Marinated Feta is created by our cheese maker using milk straight from our Friesian herd.

Yarra Valley Dairy Marinated Feta is a soft and creamy cows milk feta marinated in a virgin olive oil blend with fresh thyme and garlic. It is available in retail and food service sizes.
