Jorge de Moya established the family owned plantation at Telopea Downs, Victoria in 1999. His aim was to produce the finest extra virgin olive oil in the world. He started with this question: What are the enemies to olive oil quality? Answer: heat, oxygen, time, contaminants, and light.
All of these elements not only ruin the taste of olive oil, they also demolish its health benefits. Thus Jorge set out to remove these elements from his process as much as humanly possible.
The end result is an ultra premium olive oil unlike any the world has ever tasted, which Jorge de Moya is confident will soon have the world thinking the Aussie way when it comes to extra virgin olive oil.
